About Your Instructor
Dr. Jared Cooper, PT
After 25+ years in practice, physical therapist Dr. Jared Cooper (Dr. C) founded the Bodywork Dojo, a continuing education school for bodywork professionals and therapists. His work as an educator has been featured on ABC News, in The Wall Street Journal, The NY Sun, and The Chicago Tribune.
Dr. C is currently an AMTA National and Regional Conference presenter, and an approved Continuing Education Provider through the NCBTMB. He is a former bodywork instructor at the Center for Massage & Natural Health in Asheville, NC, and former Adjunct Professor and Clinical Instructor for schools such as Seton Hall, Rutgers University, Western Carolina University, and the Osteopathic Manual Therapy Fellowship at Morristown Hospital.
Dr. C earned his B.S. from Cornell University, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Currently, Dr. C lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina with his wife Kaia, son Renly, and adorable aussie-doodle Shae.
